› In the wee hours of our 333rd day of travel, we checked out of our Montreal hotel and took a taxi to Pierre-Elliot Trudeau Airport for the final flight of our trip—back to the United States of America.

 › We heard rumors of the magical healing properties imparted by the mineral-rich geothermal heated waters of the Blue Lagoon. Of course we had to investigate this for ourselves.

 Waterfalls, Geysers, and First Parliament.

 › Iceland prides itself on being a land of ice and fire, and today we saw that first-hand when we toured the Golden Circle. We visited icy waterfalls, boiling glaciers, and the true birthplace of human democracy. It was an epic day.

Into a Land of Ice and Fire

Endless Days, Statues, Hot Dogs.

› After leaving England, we had a three-day layover in Iceland, a small island country the locals call a land of ice and fire. On our first day, we got the lay of the land in Reykjavik, along with a history lesson or two, and some delicious hot dogs.
