The Grand Bazaar and the Blue Mosque are two places that everyone says you have to visit when you're in Istanbul. Because we were enjoying a leisurely pace while we were in Istanbul, we waited until our last few days to explore these iconic tourist attractions.

Fairy Chimneys, Rock Caves, Rock Doves. 

We spend three days visiting the Cappadocia region of Turkey and the village of Ürgüp, famous for its incredible rock hosues. On the first day, we explore the unusual rock formations of Paşabağ and take in some great views.

There are a Lot of Cats in Istanbul!

I think I've mentioned once or twice that there are a lot of cats in Istanbul. They are quite literally everywhere you turn, and they all seem relatively well-fed (some more than others) and reasonably happy—as happy as a cat can be, anyway. Here's a gallery of some of our favorites.
