We arrived in Panama City at 5:00 a.m. We couldn't check into where we were staying until 5:30 p.m., so we spent 12 hours taking in the sights.

We spend a long time on a bus traveling from San Jose to Panama City.
An attempted visit to the Monteverde Cloud Forest, one of Costa Rica’s must-see locations, was stymied by heavy machinery. We met a nice cat, though.

We decided to go ziplining. As a bonus, we swam in hot springs, drank piña coladas, and got caught in the rain.
While we were in Puntarenas, we had to try Granizados dos Leches (translates as slushies two milks). It's shaved ice with flavoring, powdered milk, and condensed milk.
