Everyone Needs Clean Water

By March 22, 2015, our world travel adventure had taken us through eighteen countries, and almost every one of those countries faces some kind of water crisis.

Most countries we'd visited didn't have a consistent and reliable supply of clean, drinkable water for all their citizens. And even those that did often relied on an excessive number of plastic water bottles — but that's a whole other issue.

You can help bring clean water to people who need it.

Fortunately there are a number of good organizations helping bring clean drinking water to the places in the world that need it the most.

So this year on World Water Day (that's today, mind you), consider donating to a worthy charity like charity:water or water.org and help a community in need obtain clean water that’s safe to drink.
